Volunteer Orientation
RRFP’s volunteer orientation is 1 hour, virtual, and pretty casual. Its purpose is to give you an understanding of who RRFP is, what we do, how we operate, and how to get involved.
If no orientations are currently scheduled we encourage you to follow us on social media and/or fill out the Volunteer Interest Form to stay in the loop!
Creating Reproductive Justice Leaders Training
Creating RJ Leaders (CRJL) is a 3 hour virtual training (with a 30 min break, interpretation available upon request) where we cover:

Who has abortions
How to talk about abortion
After attending the training we are hoping folks will feel confident in the framework that is Reproductive Justice, and begin to have a deeper understanding of how RJ relates to things in all of our lives. We also hope to demystify abortion and have you feeling more comfortable talking about abortion with those around you.
CRJL training is open for everyone, but is required for all volunteers who would like to do direct-client support. This includes abortion doula volunteers, practical support (transportation) volunteers, and intake (warmline) volunteers.

Registration for RRFP events is limited, so feel free to skip ahead to future months if you don’t see openings. We also have open Member Meetings for supporters interested in learning more about our work, folks who curious about developments in the VA repro landscape, or just seeking community with RRFP’s collective network.
Anyone who supports RRFP is welcome no matter the level of engagement.
