If you want an abortion, RRFP may be able to help you with resources to do so. We at RRFP want to support your decision to access the healthcare you deserve.

RRFP funds anyone who lives in or is traveling to Virginia for their abortion who needs financial or practical resources to access abortion care.
Practical Support is support around overcoming non-financial obstacles to getting holistic abortion care. We recognize that there are barriers to accessing abortion beyond paying for the procedure!
This can include:
transportation (Lyft/Uber, clinic escorts, &/or gas money)
childcare
meals & food
lodging (hotels & Airbnb)
care packages (menstrual supplies, OTC pain meds, comfy socks, etc.)
An Abortion Doula can also provide support before, during, & after your abortion.
The goal is your comfort, safety, and autonomy. You can decide to connect with a doula on the phone, text them, have them in the waiting room with you, or have them join you at the clinic.
The Hamilton Street Planned Parenthood has in-house doula support for all abortion procedures!
For appointments elsewhere, intake staff and volunteers are able to connect callers with abortion doulas at the Richmond Doula Project for text, phone, and in-person support.
